      <description>&lt;p&gt;I’ve used multiple iPads Pros and Minis for years. Primarily a Pro 13 for work stuff and a Mini for personal stuff.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;iPadOS 26 may have broke me.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It’s useable on the 13 but on the Mini, not having Slide Over and Split View is painful.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have to spend so much time trying to launch apps and manage windows that it’s easier to go grab my MacBook Air.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;These may be my last iPads.&lt;/p&gt;

So the worst thing you could do to them, as far as they’re concerned, is to diminish their hatreds. To those of us who don’t happen to share those hatreds, their behavior might look like wearying, pointless repetition. But from the inside, those hatreds are the primary instrument of myth confirmation. They give security, and people want security. I can’t blame them for that, but I sure wish they chose different means to that end. I have no influence in the matter, though.”&lt;/p&gt;
